Something changed recently. I don’t know if it was the IOS update or the devs made a change. I any case, the game consistently puts an ace or a very low card in the 6th or 7th position near the bottom or at the bottom of the stack. My wife also plays on her account and she noticed the same thing. I’m guessing it’s to make for longer engagement by the player and thus increasing monetization. After this change, the game has become exceedingly predictable and obviously does not deal the cards randomly. (My original reviews are below) ————- The latest update has destroyed a once flawless game. I cannot, fo the life of me, understand why developers seem to think they always have to fix what isn’t broken. The animations are slow, the music is gone, scoring was reset so I lost my personal best scores. It sickens me when companies do this. You have a loyal and happy fan base. Why ruin that? Was 5 star. Now 2. The second star is just because the game doesn’t crash. ————— Previous review: Great rendition of the classic game that made people learn and enjoy Windows in spite of themselves! I don't understand the reviews that say you can't win a game. I won on my second game. Very well done. No flaws. Thanks for a great game!

I preferred the old Solitaire, I almost had 4000 points, l didn’t have to repeat as often, more games could actually be completed . I am always having to hit new game, because the re is no solution, this is not as enjoyable, please fix it.

The App says to go to settings in the game to report issues with ads. You were supposed to be able to skip ads once they have played for five seconds. However some ads continue to run even after you have attempted to close out after the time has run. I went to settings within the game to report the problem with the ad and there was no menu item that allowed you to do it. You can contact the chat and then they want screenshots. I did not have a screenshot but I did have the name of the game biblical Christian solitaire. If you really want problems reported, then make them easy to report by offering a specific menu item in the Settings instead of making people hunt it down through the various submenus. I am deleting this app.

I had tried a few and found this one to be my favorite. I think there ARE ads or something annoying as I recall, because I paid the nominal fee to not deal with whatever that was. I would give five stars but if I play for any length of time over a few minutes, the game gets flaky and the deck doesn’t turn when I click. So I click again a few times and then the UI suddenly catches up and I have to hit undo a few times. This is not a WiFi issue, it’s an app issue. I have also seen where after turning over just a card or two in a new game, I automatically win the game. I can only imagine what my opponent thinks when I win a game after only a couple seconds. This behavior usually happens repeatedly once it occurs. Both of these behaviors are remedied by closing and restarting the app, but neither should be happening in the first place.

Like the app but with the added game types the in app notification for a new event is now gone. Fix this please.

Fun & relaxing

This has been a daily favorite for years. Free, simple, relaxing.

Quickly play a game to kill time while waiting for whatever, talking on the cell phone, waiting on the transit bus, etc. I always play the daily challenge. Just relaxing and fun.

Every morning when I wake up I play this game. It wakes up my brain for the rest of the day!

Get rid of the childish exploding stuff. I picked this app for its simplicity not exploding hearts. Give me the option to turn off the kid stuff

Love this game Exept the upper right that triggers the message about bonuses. Too easy to trigger & for no reason. That screen popping up is very irritating.

There are many, many versions of solitaire available for iPhone and I’m not sure if any of them are better than this one because I’ve never tried any other ones. I’m not even sure why I picked this one, it was a long time ago and it probably was first one in line at the App Store. I’ve been happy with it and had no problems. I always play the daily challenge then all random deals because I’m not tryna game the system. If I lose, I lose, it doesn’t hurt my feelings. I play a bunch of rounds every night along with various word games, puzzles and Tetris just to keep my mind sharp. I can pick card faces etc. and I have no problem with what’s available. I’m staying loyal to this game.

I love how the cards move with one touch, the sound effects and I especially love the fanfare of trumpets when I win. I’m not sure what the puffs of dusty gray are, but I can live with them. I also love that I can use my favorite photo as a background!

Not enjoying it as much as I used to! Keep hoping for an update that includes a switch to turn off the “Daily Goals” feature that came with the last update. Really don’t like it! Thanks. For years now I’ve requested a switch to turn off the “Daily Goals” feature and nothing has been done. All I get is a comment about your forwarding it to your team. I would have to rate your customer support as zero and I certainly will not be shopping for new apps from you.

Over the years I have played almost 15,000 games. Relaxing yet a good mental exercise. Good way for an octogenarian.

I play this game every night. The daily challenge is enjoyable. If you like solitaire, this is the best one (and I have tried many.)

I’ve been playing this game for a long, long time and really enjoy it! The new version is super! I would appreciate an update, maybe some more achievable 100 / 200 (maybe some 300)’s…

It’s something to do during commercials

After about level 60 the stupid app no longer keeps tract of daily challenges correctly. What's the point of playing if you didn't even bother to make sure it worked. What a waste of time, can't believe you do this to people.

I have been playing MobilityWare games since the very beginning. I used to love them. Recently their ads are showing up and you can't close them. You have to turn off the game and restart it. But lo and behold, there they are again. What gives??

The new faces are terrible. Very difficult to look at. Hate it. They better change it.

Have you made changes that prevent communication between devices? I’m replaying Daily Challenges that I’ve already won. Also the new shade of red is obnoxious.

Edited: 12/14/24 As I stated previously, I have had this app for many years. I am not happy with updates as of late. I have never tried the winning game option for solitaire. I feel like I’m a decent enough player that I don’t need that. Unfortunately, something has been up with the game lately. I don’t know if it’s an update or what But it is not right. It’s like the game has a pre-plan stacked deck. I may win two out of 10 games now when not too long ago it was just the opposite. Just in the last week it seems that every time I get a card from the deck it just goes straight to the home. I can’t recall ever having so many duplicate reds or duplicate blacks to choose from at the same time for an option. Meaning I need that seven of spade, but I Also have a seven of clubs. Maybe I’ll have a nine of hearts or a nine of diamonds. Things like that just don’t happen. Now it happens all the time and I’m not even winning and I still haven’t chosen to use the winning game button so to speak . What is going on with the game? Part of me wants to delete it and reinstall it, but I don’t want to have to pay again to not have ads. I have a similar issue to this as I have told you previously when there is no Wi-Fi. It’s very strange indeed. Whatever this is please fix it or I’m just gonna have to stop playing. It’s just not fun like this. I mean yeah it’s nice to have a challenge but give me a break! I honestly can’t believe so many people use the option to have winning games. I don’t need it, but if it’s stuck like this, I’m gonna have to do it, but it doesn’t feel honorable . It doesn’t feel like I’m actually winning. It feels like I’m cheating if I have to use that. I have integrity. I have had this app for many years. I have tried others, but I prefer this one. It was always challenging and fun. I never won every challenge, but I did win quite a bit. After a couple years, I even paid the fee to have no ads. I noticed sometimes when there wasn’t any Wi-Fi, I would get games that was impossible to win. I would play them several hands and they still couldn’t be beat. I feel like this is something that the game did when you have ads. Because you can’t have ads without Wi-Fi. all in all it was a good game to play all the time to pass the time to keep my mind sharp. I had Wi-Fi signal more times than not. Unfortunately, in the last few days for some reason, I am getting games that cannot be beat. No matter what time after time games that cannot be beat. What’s going on? I mean, I love it challenge but seriously…

Update: This game just keeps getting worse. Now randomly the cards won’t advance when you tap the deck, then when tapped again it will advance twice. Also played the daily challenge this morning as I do every day, and tonight I noticed it said the daily challenge hadn’t been successfully played. I’ve played this game for a long time now and loved, loved it. Recently they made some changes, most of which I dislike. A few things have been addressed such as being able to hide the card spots which was removed but now is back. Or changing the way you could choose a winning deal every hand went from the settings menu to having to select this button when you started a new game but which is now back in settings. Somethings are still issues: 1. Splash (loading) screen that is displayed while game is loading is too long. That wouldn’t be so bad if it was only when I started the app, but now I get this screen even when I’m playing a game and have to switch to another app and come back - loading screen again. Every time. 2. Now they’ve added this level thing. I couldn’t care less what “level” I’m on. A notification pops up after every single game and it’s annoying. There’s no way to turn that off in settings. Maybe some people like this and that’s fine, but give those who don’t the option of turning off the notification. 3. Randomly, the game will start running slow and I can literally see the cards moving across my screen. The next game will be fine. Never had this issue until the latest release. 4. Also randomly, I start a new game and all the graphics except for the top row of cards disappear. I know the game is running because I can tap where the deck should be and can tell when a card is getting played. I can hit reshuffle and all the cards are back. Also never an issue until the new release. 5. It’s impossible to now see the final stats on a game which now appear only when the status bar is hidden ( also don’t like that feature) unless I press close and make the status bar disappear. Then I can see how many moves and length of the game before starting a new game. They did add the option of turning off the winning graphics which was great. This is my absolute favorite game and I hope they will continue to read the feedback and improve.

This apps ads tried to download malware. When the ad freezes your phone it’s downloading so shut down.

Got a few days to get used to the graphics but now it’s ok. I don’t like that the 100% winnable is much harder than Microsoft solitaire. I have enough stress in my life. I want easier wins. These might be 100% winnable but I only get them about 2/3 of the time. :/

Your game has gone way way down. VERY DISGUSTING If I wanted to go on Facebook I would. Really lousy now. Too difficult. FIND ANOTHER GAME. THIS ONE SOLD OUT TO FACEBOOK. HORRIBLE HORRENDOUS

This app shares the last website you visited with the developer. It is buried in the fine print of their “privacy” policy. I deleted all of their apps from my phone and recommend that others do as well. Too bad, they had some fun games.

I’ve just been introduced to Canfield Solitaire. I found a different company that has an app for it, but I really like the MobilityWare games and I’m wondering if you’re planning on making a game

Classic solitaire, works well. Latest update forced me to agree to data sharing to serve relevant ads on the ad-free version. Looking for a new, ad-free, non-data sharing, simple solitaire app; uninstalling this one. The game is called Solitaire, please remove the constant, annoying Game Center sign in notification.

I’ve played this game daily from Motility for many years . Bring back the old version. This one is a disaster! Will search for a new app.

I like the game very much. I did play yesterday and wasn't given credit for playing in the monthly record.

Always enjoyed playing but never learned the strategies I have using the “hint”. I try not to unless I am stuck. Makes it a challenge but also experience.

Great game

Frustrating that I have played solitaire for many, many years. I cannot open my original app. I’ve written to Mobilityware but no response. I have now opened a second app so I can play the game I love. HELP!

Solitaire should not challenge you rather be fun to play but the challenging part is that it buries the needed card all the way down where you can’t get to it regardless of how you play the cards.

Free solitaire is awful because of the ads. But paying for this one and having no ads has been well worth $5

This may not be the approved way of sending feedback, but it’s what I know. Way too often lately, response to tapping, especially turning over the card deck to the next card, is slow. I tap, nothing happens. I tap again, and two sets of cards turn over. Or I tap, nothing happens, so I tap in an empty place on the screen and the cards turn over. I’m getting frustrated! I can fix it by cold-booting the phone. I shouldn’t have to do this; this isn’t Windows, where rebooting is the universal fix!

I’ve been playing this game for several years now. I’ve gone through all the levels twice. This is my third time around, I’m on level three, and the game is stuck at Queen III. No matter how many times I complete this level, it won’t advance beyond Queen III. Either fix the glitch or upgrade the game. Thanks.

I’ve played for years and enjoy the challenge of beating records. But they changed the algorithm for the easy game and it doesn’t follow intuitive rules and isn’t as winnable. When my mother or grandchildren play now they become exasperated and quit. Not as much fun. Not dependable. Why did you fix what wasn’t broken?
